One Stop Shops

Extract from a Press Release from One Cornwall:-

The new council for Cornwall will have 22 One Stop Shops up and running by 1st April 2009.

One Stop Shops are a fundamental part of the new unified council's aim to provide excellent customer focused, cost effective services. The new council wants to make finding information and making enquiries much easier.

One of these will be in Fowey, possibly at the Library although the exact location is still to be decided

Daffodils

A long established daffodil grower in Cornwall, Fentongollan, has just introduced this year a new variety of daffodil called "Fowey". Our  Environment Group has decided to plant some of these in the Old Grammar School Garden on the Esplanade.
